“i stole a car” one says, and the others nod
“i got mad at my ex-wife’s boyfriend and beat the shit out of him” says another, and they all go ‘ahhh’
“i kicked a soccer ball” says the last
the entire lunchroom goes quiet before panicked whispers fill the air and everybody trades nervous glances
‘that guy broke the soccer ban’
